Interaction of an electron beam with whistler waves in magnetoplasmas-reinvestigated

Propagation of various kinds of waves though partially or fully ionized plasma under various physical situations has been a subject of great interest. Study of whistler waves has been carried out in detail and results are published in series of papers. Interaction of an electron beam with whistler waves in magnetoplasmas has been published by Gupta et al. (2015) by considering propagation of electron beam through electron fluid. We have looked into that work in detail and have found several major discrepancies. Therefore, the results of that paper may not be reliable.
