In article number 1900228, Husam H. Abu‐Safe and co‐workers present Au–Ag–Al nano‐alloy thin films as a candidate material for advanced photonic applications. The topography on the cover demonstrates that the overall granular appearance is normal for metallic thin films grown by thermal evaporation at room temperature. The films with no Al (bottom image) have an island‐type structure with hemispherical‐shaped tops. With increase in the films' Al content (indicated by the upward arrow), the islands coalesced and grew into larger features as seen on the surface. At high Al concentrations, the films formed continuous structure and smooth surfaces.
