We report the first experimental realization of visible vortex Hermite-Gaussian beams in a diode-pumped Pr:YLF laser. The maximum output power of a first-order vortex laser reaches 320 mW. Vortex and vortex Hermite-Gaussian lasers are created in this experiment only by regulating the output mirror. Moreover, the phases of vortex Hermite-Gaussian modes are verified by interference fringes.
