Arsenic and potassium species were considered as the major poisons for V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalyst deactivation. However, their synergistic impacts were rarely reported and the role of anions (Cl, SO42− and NO3) were ignored. Therefore, a series of work were conducted in this research. Results indicated that the co-effect of (As+K) was more serious than the additive effect of single poison. Both physical and chemical properties changes were responsible for this phenomenon. Except for the negative effect of As2O3 and K cation, different anions also presented different impacts on catalyst redox ability and ammonia adsorption capacity, which further inhibited NH3-SCR reactions.
