Abstract The uneven wear problems of filtration sleeves during their industrial operation are analyzed. The experimental data made it possible to establish the causes of wear and to determine the criteria for wear. The relationship between the filtration rate and the service life of the sleeves is established using experimental data. Mathematical dependences that make it possible to predict the service life and wear life of the sleeves during their operation are found. Devices that make it possible to increase the service life of filtration sleeves and reduce their wear life are developed based on the results.
