On the Question of the Difference between Artificial and Natural Intelligence

Abstract —The question occurs of whether a cybernetic system that functions on the basis of algorithms can simulate, at least in principle, the behavior of natural intelligence systems. A valid answer to this question, from a mathematical viewpoint, cannot be given today. Nevertheless, here we will provide rather convincing reasoning to shows that currently existing cybernetic systems in principle cannot simulate the behavior of natural intelligence systems. This is also impossible even with the help of any programming trick. Fundamentally new approaches are required for this purpose, some of which are discussed in this paper.
