Background: Lung cancer was one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide. In China, lung cancer has become the leading reason of malignant tumors-related mortality in urban population, whereas nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) represented at least 80% of all lung cancers with poor 5-year survival rate. Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) small nucleolar RNA host gene 20 (SNHG20) was reported to be associated with NSCLC, but the regulatory mechanisms of SNHG20 in NSCLC needed further investigation.
