The COVID-19 pandemic has dominated the world’s headlines in 2020. Whether working in hospital or staying at home, it has impacted everyone. If one is either wearing or not wearing a mask, walking down a street, or remotely encountering another person, it raises the question: “Is he or she symptomatic or not?” As the disease has evolved, it is now common for everyone to know someone who has been significantly affected by the COVID-19 virus. The oft-expressed truth is that normal life as we used to know has been changed forever. It is a great curiosity to ponder if or what the timeline will be to return to a “normal” living pattern that we had just a few months back at the start of 2020.

COVID-19 pand-ECMO-ic。
