Abstract
The catalytic Fe/γ-Al2O3 system in air, CO, and H2 atmospheres has been studied in the temperature range of 293–773 K. In the initial state, the system contains at least two Fe3+ paramagnetic forms with close values of isomeric shift and different quadrupole splittings. In this system, iron is reduced to the Fe2+ state in an atmosphere of СО and Н2 at 423–773 K. The latter state also exists in at least two forms. The processes occurring in the system and the nature of the found iron forms are discussed.中文翻译:
