Synthesis and Study of Faujasite Zeolite Based on Nakhchivan Native Mineral

Faujasite zeolite was synthesized on the basis of the native zeolite of Nakhchivan, and its physicochemical properties were studied. The zeolitic tuffs of Nakhchivan (Kyukyuchaiskoe field) served as the native sample. It was determined that faujasite exists under a wide range of conditions; the optimal conditions of its hydrothermal synthesis were found to be temperature 100 – 200°C, thermal solution concentration 10 – 15% Ca(OH)2, and process time 50 h.
