Abstract We tried to find meteoroids (displayed as bolides in Earth’s atmosphere) which could be linked with V-type parents. The process is based on the spectral characteristics of recorded bolides. From the set of 48 confirmed V-type NEOs we extracted potential meteoroid stream producing bodies. By evaluating their Earth’s orbit crossing aspects we gained data when associated V-type meteors could appear. We browsed the sources which contain at least basic information on the meteor orbit along with its spectrum.
