This paper [1] addresses a topic that we have previously approached: the determination of solutions that are strictly equilibrated for plates modelled with the Kirchhoff theory. We start by noting that a simple search on the index of this journal for “Kirchhoff” and “equilibrium” or “Statically admissible” leads to the paper on the general degree equilibrium formulation for Kirchhoff plates that we published in 2013 [2], which is also detailed in our 2017 book [3].
