Ageing is a universal and gradual process of organ deterioration. Radiation induces oxidative stress in cells, which leads to genetic damage and affects cell growth, differentiation and senescence. Astragaloside (AS)‐IV has antioxidative, anti‐apoptotic and anti‐inflammatory properties.
