Exact Solution of the Prandtl Problem about a Dynamic Laminar Boundary Layer

Abstract We consider the problem about a dynamic laminar boundary layer of finite thickness $$\delta (x) $$ . Formulas for calculating $$\delta (x) $$ and the tangential stress $$\tau _0(x) $$ are obtained. Based on these formulas, we carry out the error analysis of the approximation to the corresponding velocity distribution.
