The first special issue of the “Molecular Insights into Insect Physiological Systems” in memory of the “First International Molecular Plant Protection Congress (IMPPC2019)” has been published in Volume 103, Issue 3 of Archives of Insect Biochemistry and Physiology last March. I am very glad to mention that the final and second issue of this series has been successfully completed. This new issue includes nine articles composed of two research‐ and two review‐type articles; as well as two short communications and three microreviews. In total, 18 articles from two issues have been shared with the scientific society. I sincerely hope that both special issues will have a great contribution to the fields of insect physiology and biochemistry.

I would like to thank all contributors to this special issue for sharing their great work through this platform, and also all reviewers for the valuable feedback they provided in a short time. I am also grateful to Professor Yonggyun Kim, Editor‐in‐Chief of the Archives of Insect Biochemistry and Physiology, for his continuous support since the initiation of this project.
