Domain decomposition methods to model heat exchanges between a well and a rock mass

This paper focuses on the modeling of heat transfer between fluid flowing in a well and the surrounding rock mass and proposes an efficient domain decomposition approach to solve this problem. The importance of such a method is illustrated by the study of the modeling of underground gas storage in salt caverns.
