Decreasing security threshold against double spend attack in networks with slow synchronization

We research the probability change of successful double spend attack on Proof-of-Work consensus protocol depending on network parameters in the model with continuous time. We analyze influence of block generation rate in networks with delayed message delivery on probability of double spend attack success, and provide strict analytical expressions for network security threshold and for the upper bound of block generation rate.
