Functionalized nitro compounds, namely β‐nitro acrylates, β‐nitro enones, and protected β‐nitro ketones, were successfully used as profitable building blocks of the most important nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur containing heterocyclic systems, exploiting one‐pot processes.
