Participation of all Employee Categories in Innovation Processes in Slovak Organisations

Dynamically changing environment and the coming fourth industrial revolution represent a great challenge for businesses not only in Slovakia; and increasing companies´ innovation potential is the way how such challenges can be successfully dealt with. The internal potential of a company is most significantly affected by the potential and commitment of its employees, which can be directly influenced by the individual activities of human resource management. The paper aims at analysing the focus of Slovak organisations on the activities associated with the commitment of all employees in innovation processes, and at identifying the overall change in their orientation on this issue in time. A questionnaire survey conducted between 2014 and 2018 was used to achieve the purpose of the article, which was followed by the statistical evaluation of the research hypotheses, and the evaluation of the overall change of the examined attributes using the indices of change. The obtained results showed a positive trend as to the level of the commitment of all employees in innovation processes; however the uncovered present state was not considered to be sufficient.

动态变化的环境和即将到来的第四次工业革命不仅对斯洛伐克的企业来说也是一个巨大的挑战;不断增长的公司创新潜力是如何成功应对此类挑战的方式。公司的内部潜力受员工的潜力和承诺的影响最大,而人力资源管理的各项活动可以直接影响公司的内部潜力。本文旨在分析斯洛伐克组织对与所有员工在创新过程中的承诺相关的活动的关注,并及时确定他们在此问题上的方向的总体变化。为了实现本文的目的,我们使用了2014年至2018年进行的问卷调查,接下来是对研究假设的统计评估,以及使用变化指标对所检查属性的整体变化进行评估。获得的结果表明,所有员工在创新过程中的承诺水平都呈积极趋势;但是,发现的当前状态并不足够。
