In this paper, we study the nonexistence of solutions for the quasilinear elliptic equations (1)$\pm ({\Delta }_{p}u+\nu {\Delta }_p\left(u^2\right)u)=h\left(x\right)u^m+H\left(x\right)u^n,x\in {\mathbb{R}}^N$and (2)$\pm ({\Delta }_{p}u+\nu {\Delta }_p\left(u^2\right)u)=g(x,u)+H\left(x\right)e^u,x\in {\mathbb{R}}^N,$where $N\ge 3,\nu \ge 0,m\le p-1<n,p>1$ and $h\left(x\right),H\left(x\right)>0$, $g(x,u)\ge 0$ in ${\mathbb{R}}^N\times [0,\infty )$. We establish conditions sufficient to ensure the nonexistence of bounded positive solutions for (1) and (2).
