Efficient Modeling of Dispersive Media in Leapfrog WCS-FDTD Method

A leapfrog weakly conditionally stable finite-difference time-domain method is extended to simulate general dispersive media modeled through a partial fraction model via a vector fitting tool and auxiliary difference equation. The computational accuracy and efficiency of this algorithm are demonstrated by numerical examples of metal and graphene.
