On the tensile strength of medium entropy Fe30Ni30Cr20Co17Mo2W1 alloy with high microstructural stability

It is shown that a medium entropy Fe30Ni30Cr20Co17Mo2W1 alloy maintains a single-phase solid-solution with fcc structure and high stability toward precipitation of detrimental intermetallic compounds. Aging for up to 1000 h at 600–1000 °C is found to have no marked effect on both room-temperature and elevated-temperature tensile strength.
