This manuscript has been amended to correct Fig. 3. In the initial publication although the images were labeled accurately, the figure should have included microscopy images of the complemented P. chlororaphis PA23anr mutant, ANR (ANR), and should not have contained the P. chlororaphis PA23phzR strain, phzR. The author apologises for this mistake and any confusion it has caused.
