For the editors and everyone behinds the scenes at Supramolecular Chemistry, this time of year is particularly exciting; for in a very short time attention will turn to the annual Sessler Early Career Researcher Prize. This award, to an outstanding early career investigator in a full-time academic or government laboratory position, is open to all principal investigators who have authored an article in Supramolecular Chemistry in the previous year’s volume and are within ten years of receiving their PhD. For the 2020 Sessler Early Career Researcher Prize, all manuscripts published in 2019 are eligible. Only one author per publishedpaperwill be considered,with the Editorsmaking the final decision with input from the Editorial Board. Last year, the winner of the Sessler Early Career Researcher Prize was Professor Ross Forgan from the University of Glasgow. Again, this year the prize winner will receive $1,000 and, conditional on the agreement of the conference organisers, be invited to present their work at the 15 International Symposium on Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry (ISMSC) in Sydney, Australia in July 2020.
