In article number 1900471, Boon Mian Teo and co‐workers present a polydopamine/bovine serum albumin/calcium carbonate (PDA/BSA/CaCO3) hybrid particle system with a biomimetic red blood cell (RBC) membrane coating. This particle system combines the capability of the RBC membrane to modulate protein corona formation with the pH‐sensitivity of CaCO3, producing hyper‐echogenic carbon dioxide bubbles, which are ideal for contrast‐enhanced ultrasound imaging of acidic systems such as tumors.
