The polydiacetylene (PDA) composite 6 obtained in this study displayed superior photoelectrochemical (PEC) activity (4.37 mL cm–2 h–1) for hydrogen generation from wastewater, and it showed photoelectrocatalytic stability for over 18 h. Reduced graphene oxide (RGO) was interweaved with both the Mn-complex and the PDA-based backbone, resulting in a record-breaking H2 production rate, which was retained even after 5000 bending cycles.
