The morphology, phase composition, and catalytic activity in the reaction of CO oxidation of semiconductor palladium-containing sensor nanomaterials based on SnO2 were studied in order to create sensors for carbon monoxide. It was found that materials containing 0.2 wt.% Pd have maximum sensitivity to CO due to the optimum rate of catalytic reaction on their surface between CO activated on the palladium and oxygen chemisorbed on the common interface between the palladium clusters and SnO2 particles.
