Abstract The synthesis of the superconductor κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu(NCS)2 is optimized following a two-pot procedure to obtain high quality nanoparticles This leads to homogeneous sized-nanoparticles, 30 nm diameter, which are further characterized by XRD and Raman spectroscopy. SQUID measurements confirm the occurrence of the superconducting transition at 9.1 K.
