Polymeric hydrogels showing ultrafast modulus jump of 1800‐folds by heating is achieved by Takayuki Nonoyama, Jian Ping Gong, and co‐workers in article number 1905878. Like proteins in thermophiles, the hydrogels robustly dehydrate by heating due to interplay of hydrophobic and ionic interactions. The strong microscale phase separation induces vitrification to show rubbery–glassy transition by heating. The thermoreactive material is promising for applications such as sports protectors activated by frictional heat.
