In‐situ structural characterizations of electrochemical intercalation of graphite compounds

This review reports recent research progresses of in‐situ structural characterizations on intercalation processes of Li, Na, K ions and AlCl4 and other anions or solvents, of graphite. These in‐situ techniques including X‐ray, electron microscopy, Raman, neutron scattering, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and optical microscopy, provide direct information of the reaction dynamics.
