Due to the rapid increase of interest in the quality of human life, extensive research efforts have been devoted to the development of the smart contact lenses for healthcare monitoring. A variety of electronic devices, such as biosensors, wireless transmission system, drug delivery system and energy storage devices, are investigated. In article number 1900728, Jang‐Ung Park and co‐workers report recent advances and the challenges for the future development of smart contact lenses.
