Abstract Ru nanoparticles with a range size of 2∼6 nm are successfully immobilized on the surface of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) through liquid plasma reduction. The CNT-Ru nanohybrid exhibits an excellent catalyst for the redox reaction in dye-sensitized solar cells with the electrolyte of triiodide/iodide ions.
