To the Editor In their recently published Original Investigation, Garzillo and colleagues1 presented an interesting 10-year follow-up analysis from the second Medical, Angioplasty, or Surgery Study (MASS II) trial. In the article, the authors present an observational (nonrandomized) comparison assessing the predictive value of stress testing in the study population and report that the presence of ischemia did not identify people at risk of major adverse cardiovascular events at 10 years. We would like to point to a number of caveats that will help in interpreting the findings of this report.
