Squeezed and entangled solitons via soliton fission in dispersion variable fibres

Quantum fluctuations of soliton pulses produced via two-soliton fission in the optical dispersion oscillating fiber were investigated using perturbation analysis and back-propagation method. It was shown that in the fiber with periodic dispersion, two-soliton pulses decay to two similar entangled pulses having the same photon numbers of modes and different phases due to shifts of carrier frequencies of the pulses.
