High performance nano-α-Fe2O3 electrode materials synthesized by facile and green approaches for Lithium-ion batteries

Abstract α-Fe2O3 nano-powders with different morphologies are synthesized by two facile, economical and environment-friendly methods. When evaluated as anode material for Li ion battery, the acicular nano-α-Fe2O3 electrode delivers a high reversible capacity of 937 mA h g−1 with the Coulombic efficiency more than 93%.
