A practical synthesis of nitroarylamines from protected arylamines and sodium nitrite was herein achieved in the presence of a hypervalent iodine(III) reagent without any transition metal‐catalysts and solvents. The site‐selective solid‐phase protocol took place in mortar at room temperature for short time through the free radical mechanism, as proved by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) analysis.
