The front cover picture, provided by Matthias Beller et al., illustrates the applications of zinc‐catalyzed reactions in the synthesis of a large number of heterocycles. The importance of this topic relies on the wide applications of heterocycles in chemical as well as pharmaceutical industries. The various heterocycles discussed are classified based on the type of heteroatom present and also on their ring size. This is the first review that describes exclusively Zn‐catalyzed heterocycle synthesis and covers the recent applications using tandem/domino or one‐pot reaction strategies.
