Dr. Wenbo Wu obtained his PhD degree in June 2014 from Wuhan University in China, where he mainly worked on organic and polymeric second-order nonlinear optical materials and the synthesis of dendritic macromolecules under the supervision of Prof. Zhen Li. After shortly working at Zhengzhou University, he joined Prof. Bin Liu’s group at the National University of Singapore as a research fellow in March 2015 and works there currently. His current research focuses on the design of high-performance organic polymeric photosensitizers with aggregation-induced emission for image-guided photodynamic therapy. He is also looking for new applications of photosensitizers.
