In article 1701366 by Liangfang Zhang and co‐workers, human red blood cell (RBC) nanosponges are designed and demonstrated to concurrently absorb various types of different virulence factors including those from methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, and Group A Streptococcus. Toxins absorbed by the nanosponges are no longer able to damage healthy RBCs or other normal human cells both in vitro and in vivo.
