In article number 1801118 Mei Zhao, Chao Fang, and co‐workers develop a smart mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSN) based nanosystem for doxorubicin and microRNA‐145 co‐delivery (Dm@TMSN). By “weaving” polyethylenimine on the MSN surface through disulfide bonds the counter‐productive dilemma generated from intracellular compartment‐dependent delivery and release of both cargos is overcome. By integrating a peptide‐mediated active targeting strategy, Dm@TMSN exhibits an excellent antitumor effect in an orthotopic colorectal cancer model.
