CsGeI3 perovskite NCs! Colloidal nanocrystals (NCs) of metal halide perovskite have recently aroused great research interest owing to their remarkable optical and electronic properties. Herein, all‐inorganic lead‐free cesium germanium iodine (CsGeI3) perovskite NCs have been synthesized, and these CsGeI3 colloidal NCs are confirmed to adopt a rhombohedral structure (R3m space group). Moreover, the electron beam‐induced transformations of these lead‐free perovskite NCs were investigated. The electron‐reduced Ge species revealed a distinctive transformation mechanism compared to heavier congener lead atoms in lead halide perovskite NCs.
