A thiol‐reactive solvatochromic probe with two‐band emission was synthesized. It was applied for labelling amyloidogenic protein α‐synuclein, and was shown to discriminate at least three protein forms: unstructured, membrane‐bound and amyloid form. The presented approach may be used in the development of fluorescent sensors for protein interactions and transformations.
