To the Editor—Ma and collaborators [1] recently reported that at the end of 2015 in China, 65% of persons living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) (PLWH) receiving highly antiretroviral therapy (HAART) were virally suppressed, and after adjustment for those without viral load (VL) testing, the proportion suppressed increased to 89%. This showed that there was a great deficit in VL testing for PLWH receiving HAART in China.
