Protecting peptides: A conjugate of a peptide nucleic acid (PNA) and Ru complex exhibits higher DNA‐binding affinity and invasion efficiency, even under high‐salt conditions, at which DNA binding of unmodified PNA is severely impeded. Even under physiological conditions, the RuPNA conjugate is effective and highly sequence specific. These findings show promise for in cellulo or in vivo applications.
