Lighting up live cells: A new fluorescent probe (pcBD2‐Cl) that is cell permeable and selectively reacts with glutathione (GSH) in situ has been developed. The in situ GSH‐labeled probe (pcBD2–GSH) exhibits quenched fluorescence, but subsequent binding to glutathione S‐transferase (GST), which is abundant in cells, leads to recovery of the fluorescence intensity.
