The cover feature represents the photoexcitation of a N,N‐bis(phenylethyl)perylene diimide (PDI) chromophore to the singlet excited state using a femtosecond short laser pulse. The photoexcited chromophore forms a S1S0 dimer (in blue) together with a neighboring PDI chromophore. Singlet fission then occurs within one picosecond and with full efficiency that changes the S1S0 dimer state into the doubly excited triplet state T1T1 (in purple). This fission process is shown to be independent of morphology. Details are given in the Full Paper by F. C. Grozema and co‐workers on page 230 in Issue 4, 2018 (DOI: 10.1002/cplu.201700449).
