A kaolinite nanoclay composite (α‐Fe2O3‐KaolinKAc), based on the natural haemostat haematitum used in traditional Chinese medicine can effectively control haemorrhage, as Huaming Yang and co‐workers describe in article number 1704452. The high haemostatic activity is attributed to the absorption of the fluid in blood, activation of blood platelets, induction of the coagulation cascade by kaolinite, and the induced aggregation of red blood cells.
