In article number 1703420, Zhen Wen, Xuhui Sun, and co‐workers report a self‐powered vehicle emission test system coupling triboelectric and chemoresistive effects. A triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) as energy harvester is connected with an exhaust‐detecting gas sensor and light‐emitting diodes as an alarm. The TENG's output varies with the working states of the gas sensor and then reflects on the on/off status of the LEDs.

Funct。Mater.10 / 2018)
