Optically active helical poly(phenyl isocyanide)s were grafted onto a silicon wafer. The obtained polymer brushes possessed abundant chiral microenvironments originating from the chirality of the helical arms. Such chiral materials exhibited excellent chiral resolution ability. The enantiomeric excess value of the absorbed mode compound was up to 87%.
