Novel luminescent organogelators that can form gels in mixed solvents were prepared by coupling carbazoles substituted with an alkyl chain on a nucleoside. The self‐assembly of gelators was shown to be driven by inherent hydrogen‐bonding and van der Waals' force. Both gels and solutions of nucleolipids could be used to detect F–.
